In QM projects we focus on empowering people, so that they feel that they are self-efficacious, that their actions lead to change. Based on a holistic vision for the well-being of people, we live integrated district development. In every district there is a network of people in the residents' councils "QR", where public and private institutions also invest their knowledge, time and money for district development.

A colorful and culturally diverse neighborhood on the way to a bicycle and environmentally friendly quarter that offers open meeting places with a focus on social cohesion, a sense of community and neighborly exchange.

Since 2015 we have been in the prefabricated housing estate in the Kosmosviertel with a special focus on the community-oriented approach in the neighborhood.

The same focus on people, their ideas and what could improve their situation, we have in the BENN projects. People who have arrived in Germany and still do not have a clarified status or fixed accommodation, develop projects and spaces to share skills, experiences and create a new network of friends and contacts.

The development and support of engagement structures is an important part of the work in Wittenau. The location on the site of the former Karl Bonhoeffer Nervenklinik (KBoN), together with various other facilities, leads to synergies, but also to strong conflicts of use.

Strengthening the community in the neighborhoods and facilitating participation for refugees in social life - that is what BENN stands for. In the Kosmosviertel, this means creating spaces for encounters in order to enable a good exchange between old and new people in and around the Kosmosviertel.

citizen participation
Berlin-Lichtenberg
A contact point for citizen participation has been set up in the Lichtenberg district since 2021. This place is intended to provide orientation and information for the people in the district, but above all to strengthen self-organization and offer opportunities for further training and professional exchange.

In this cooperation project with vhw, a needs analysis and interviews are used to illuminate how current and future needs can be met through a joint, cooperatively developed offer structure.
Bildungslandschaften
Education is one of the core issues of area development. Educational offers can be coordinated through methodically and professionally integrated approaches. Image work and profile development of schools, as well as the opening of schools in the district are important topics.
